I overheard some scary stuff over the news that said..
“34 students* commit suicide everyday in India. Everyday!"
"One out of seven young people in India are depressed & have little interest in pursuing any interest."
“One out of five adolescents in India suffers from mental morbidity.”
*Young people is defined as those between the ages of 15-24 years.
I heard my mom say that something called that wants to help us kids go through our daily lives with big smiles!
They help us with "social and emotional skills” - which sounds serious, but she said it's like fun sessions where we learn how to make right choices, and understand our feelings better.
There's even kiddo meditation and yoga sessions, storytelling, tons of fun activities, and discussions to rattle our brains!
And get this – they're not just regular classes, they're like fun playdates with learning sprinkled in!
FIB's programs aren't just random!
They are like a bunch of science-backed secrets to help us become smart, tough, and ready for anything.
FIB says these skills are like magical keys for the big, complex world we live in.
Wouldn’t it be cool if we had SEL to help us sort it all out when things get all jumbled up in our hearts and minds...
To teach us how to be good pals, solve problems without big meltdowns, and even be brave when things get a bit scary.
